Fiabilandia, a fascinating park which was built in 1965 around Lake Bernardo, is the oldest funfair in Rimini. Every year, this lush green oasis offers both adults and children well-kept open spaces, safe and funny attractions, absorbing exhibitions, educational shows and plenty of further outstanding surprises.
Distributed over more than 150,000 square metres, it gathers 30 funny attractions including the Castle of Merlin the Wizard, a fascinating itinerary across mysterious paths, the Dream Lake, to be crossed on board a special dragon-shaped boat, Bounty's pirate vessel and the so-called Frog Sea, where children can bathe in total safety. Both Fiaby Boat, the small boat which crosses Lake Bernardo, and Fiabilandia Express, the small train which runs across the whole of the park, give guests the possibility to visit it in the best possible way.
Those looking for good food and relax can take advantage of the numerous refreshment booths which serve excellent specialities in outstanding locations. The Saloon offers guests the possibility to have light snacks while enjoying the charming atmosphere of a traditional far west inn, while the so called frulleria (shake shop), situated near the Castle of Merlin the Wizard, serves excellent ice creams and fruit. La Pagoda Restaurant serves menus based on traditional specialities from Romagna in fine Oriental-style locations.
Children will have the possibility to play in total safety: Borgo Magico (Magic Village) is a fascinating area equipped with trampolines, merry-go-rounds, exciting slides and the colourful valley of the gnomes to be crossed on board the so-called bruco-mela. Not to be missed are the interesting exhibitions which are regularly held in Fiabilandia, proper educational itineraries which give children the possibility to learn important notions while playing. Among the most relevant didactic projects are Exotarium, a special area gathering exotic animals, the Path of Sweet-smelling Plants and the Garden of Forgotten Fruits, two lush oases which gather the most beautiful and scented plants in the world, “L’Alba del Uomo” (The Dawn of Humanity) exhibition, which celebrates the appearance of human beings on earth, the Farm and its animals and the wonderful Planetarium.
Special agreements with the hotels of the Riviera give those staying at a hotel in Cattolica the possibility to enjoy advantageous promotions to visit Fiabilandia together with the whole family.
