Cattolica for children.

The City of Cattolica always welcomes children, and wants them to have a wonderful holiday. The municipality of Cattolica and its partners organize several activities to achieve these goals: fun, exploring, adventure and fantasy will be the key words for children’s holidays in Cattolica.
Starting from theme parks of the City and the Costa Romagnola: places where adventure and new discoveries are the main words and where you can spend moments of real fun, for parents too!

The Acquarium of Cattolica offers inspiration: from the exploration of the sea and the creatures that populate it with its new itineraries, to the animation team dedicated to children in Sharky Bay, in the open air gardens of the Park, consisting of shows, plays, dances, and treasure hunts: from 1st June to  30th September, every evening from 21.00 to 22.30.
And from this year you can also book the entire holiday in Sharky’s name: many Hotels of Cattolica have dedicated some rooms to the little shark, with low –cost, all inclusive package holidays. Various  courses are organized by  Mary Poppins Summer Centre, which for years has been a byword for education and amusement for children and teenagers up to  18 years old: a cooperative organized by highly-trained staff (working within the Universities of Urbino, Bologna and Padova) and capable of offering an incredible variety of summer activities open  to the tourists and  locals: from tennis lessons to decoupage, from foreign languages lessons to horse riding, just to name a few. In the City centre,  you will have the possibility, from 15th June, to bring your children to the Mercatino – toy  exchange, collector items and knick-knacks – dedicated to them, situated in Piazza del Mercato, next to the base of the IAT of Cattolica. In addition several shows for children will take place in the centre during summer: starting with  the circus group which will liven up Piazza della Rosa dei Venti evenings in Nuova Darsena zone, but other initiatives will also take place in Cattolica.

The beautiful beaches of Cattolica will seem like playgrounds: every kind of activity, every facility , babyclub, animation teams, and water sports won’t allow you to be bored , you will always feel secure and safe with  the attendants and lifeguards of Cattolica.

Cruise  ship Queen Elizabeth, besides regular mini-cruises, also has interesting activities for children too: biologists will explain the life of marine creatures of the Adriatic and of the plankton, inside a teaching laboratory. Besides, on Saturdays, every two weeks,  there will be the presence of a marine biologist on board, who will describe turtles in their habitat.
