cattolica per bambini |
Apart from hotels provided with dedicated conference rooms hosting small business meetings, Cattolica also gathers small and medium facilities which can host important events, congresses, conventions, seminars and workshops.
Teatro della Regina, designed by Pier Luigi Cervellati in 1984, was the first purpose-built theatre in Italy after World War II. Inaugurated in January 1996, it is a traditional horseshoe-shaped Italian theatre. Two rows of boxes surround the wooden stalls, the latter giving the whole of the structure a perfect acoustics. The theatre can host up to 700 attendees, while its luxury foyer, which is often the venue for private meetings and conventions, can accommodate up to 200 people.
The 12-metre-large and 10-metre-deep stage is provided with the so-called “mystic gulf”, which is able to host orchestras of up to 50 members. The gulf is movable and can be raised up to the level of the stage, thus enlarging the theatre's total surface. Emerald green furnishings, curtains and chairs and wooden covering and flooring merge in pleasant harmony. During summer, the large round square which surrounds the theatre hosts the so-called Arena della Regina. Under the square is a large underground car park which can host up to 300 cars.
Apart from Teatro della Regina, Snaporaz Theatre too can host targeted shows and events. Situated on the corner of Piazza Mercato, this small theatre bears witness to the “original dream” of its builders, since it was conceived as a "stateroom" situated inside the Market. The second largest theatre in the city, it was inaugurated in July 1997 and can host up to 220 people. Its charming foyer, which is often the venue for interesting meetings and conferences, can accommodate up to 100 participants.
The stands are surrounded by two galleries, the latter giving the whole of the theatre a perfect acoustics. Provided with a 9-metre-large and 6-metre-deep stage, it is also equipped with state-of-the-art theatrical and music technologies, and can also be used as a movie house, since it is provided with giant screen, projection booth and numerous dressing rooms. It features a large underground car park which can host up to 130 cars.
