Cattolica's Aquarium
Mirabilandia, the largest and most famous funfair in Italy, is a traditional tourist mecca for those spending their holidays in Cattolica. Situated few kilometres far from Ravenna's city centre, this 850,000-square metre-large funfair gathers green oases, lush gardens, charming lakes and 44 funny attractions for both adults and children.
From Statale Adriatica SS 16, it is possible to admire its 90-metre-large Ferris wheel, which gives guests the possibility to enjoy breathtaking views over the underlying landscape.
Among the most important attractions are Katun, the longest and quickest roller coaster in Europe, the two 65-metre-high vertical towers Columbia & Discovery, Niagara waterfalls and Rio Bravo itinerary, which every year attract large numbers of daring tourists.
Both children and their parents will have the opportunity to enjoy well-equipped targeted areas, 15 absorbing live shows, the funny projections of the 4D cinema, the artificial beach of Mirabilandia Beach and the so-called Bimbopoli, a funny playground where children can play in total safety.
Outstanding attractions are complemented by well-stocked refreshment booths, shaded benches to have relaxing pic-nics, wonderful shows based on lights and water fountains and amazing summer events which every year attract large numbers of tourists from all over the world.
